42 SECONDS OF HAPPINESS tells the story of a group of friends who reunite for a weekend away to celebrate a wedding. The getaway takes a sharp turn when a breakup, an intervention, a gun lost and found and the largest hurricane ever to hit the East Coast lead everything to ever higher degrees of absurdity.

The film started its festival journey in September 2016 and it was a sleeper hit with local and smaller international film festivals – it screened to sold-out houses and received great reviews as well as a number of awards:

Best Feature Film at WTxFF in Texas, Best Ensemble Cast at Harlem IFF, Indie Spirit Award and Best Ensemble Cast at Princeton IFF, Best American Film at the Jaipur IFF, and nominations for the Emerging Director Award at the St. Louis IFF, the FIPRESCI Award at the Thessaloniki IFF and the Exberliner Award at Achtung Berlin 2017.
